Cozy Nook is built to be calm and private. We collect as little as we can, we show no ads, and we do not sell your data.
What the app stores
- An anonymous ID. The first time you open the app, it signs you in without a name or email. This ID is created by Firebase Authentication.
- Activity sessions. Which activity you used, when, and for how long.
- Your settings. For example, your Window Seat sound mix.
- Quiet Garden check-ins. The mood rating you pick and the self-care acts you tick.
What the app does not store
- Anything you write in the Postcard Writer. It stays on your device and disappears when you mail or burn it.
- Your drawings, weavings, and other creations. They stay on your device unless you choose Save, which downloads a picture to your device.
- Advertising IDs. We do not use ads or advertising trackers.
This website
If you join the email list, we store your email address and the date you joined, only to send occasional updates about Cozy Nook. To be removed, email us at ideashub777@gmail.com. This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Who handles your data
Data is stored with Google Firebase. The app and this website are hosted by Cloudflare, which may keep standard server logs such as IP addresses for security and reliability. Sound loops are delivered from Cloudflare storage.
Deleting your data
Because sign-in is anonymous, we cannot look you up by name. Clearing the app’s data in your browser or phone removes your sign-in from that device. If you have questions or want something removed, email ideashub777@gmail.com.
Children
Cozy Nook is made for adults and is not directed at children under 13.
Not medical care
Cozy Nook is a gentle way to take a break. It is not a medical service and does not replace professional care. If you are struggling, please reach out to a health professional or someone you trust. If you may be in danger, contact your local emergency services.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. If we ever add accounts or new kinds of data, we will say so here first.
